Baga Beach, located in North Goa, India, is a popular beach attracting thousands of visitors annually. Named after the Baga River, Baga beach borders the Arabian Ocean to its west.
This crescent shaped beach is comparatively peaceful and less crowded, and the beach water is also clean and safe for swimming. It is believed that the brown sand of the Baga beach has some natural medicinal properties; therefore, one can see people smearing the sand all around their body.
