Munnar is a beautiful hill station located in the Western Ghats in Idukki district of Kerala, India. It is situated at an altitude of 5,000 feet above sea level at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India.

Munnar has the highest peak in South India known as Anamudi, which towers over 8,800 feet and is an ideal spot for trekking. Munnar also has vast area covered with tea plantation, many of them started by the Britishers. The "Kannan Devan" brand of Tea from the Tata is cultivated and processed here. Munnar is a perfect destination for adventure lovers, honeymoon couples, and wildlife and nature lovers.
